Club Meeting : Macro & Water Droplets
Our first in-person meeting at The Centre for Creative Arts in a while and we are glad to be back! This meeting focused on macro with water droplets and club members had fun setting up their shots and playing with different lighting.
A few key points to remember:
- Make sure you have a good light source or an external flash.
- Use a tripod.
- Try using manual focus and live view.
- Have patience. It can take quite a few shots to get the image you are aiming for.
- Want a greater depth of field? Try taking multiple photos at different focal ranges and bring them into Photoshop to image stack them.
- Be creative and have fun!
We look forward to getting back into the swing of in-person meetings and building on our club culture again.
